To qualify, you must:
• Be between 13–21 years old
• Have parent or guardian approval
• Have a business page (Facebook or Instagram)
• Have a registered business name or a plan in progress
• Submit a short vision write-up or business plan (template provided)

Once approved, you’ll gain access to discounted Cake It or Leave It LLC dry mixes, program perks, and helpful resources designed to support your growth as a young baker.

We’ve created two optional starter kits to help you launch with confidence. Each kit includes baking essentials, packaging materials, and exclusive Cake It or Leave It LLC dry mixes so you can start baking and selling your first batch like a pro.

Participants will also receive beginner friendly guidance for markets and vendor setups. We’ll cover how to present your table, interact with customers, and manage your products during events. From your table layout to staying confident while selling, we’ll help you show up prepared and professional.

Applications are open to Florida residents ages 13 to 21.
Spots are limited and we’re currently accepting 12 participants for our first group.

Who can apply?
This program is open to young bakers ages 13 to 21 who are ready to take their love for baking to the next level. You don’t need to be an expert, but you do need to have something started like selling to friends, family, or at school events, or be able to show that you’re actively building your baking brand.

Can students apply?
Absolutely! Students can apply as long as they have parent or guardian approval and can balance school with their baking goals. This program is designed to work around your schedule, not take over it.

Do I need to already have a business?
You don’t have to be fully established, but you must have a real start-up plan, product photos, or a small proof of business activity like a business page, sample menu, or baking name. This program is for those already baking or preparing to launch their bakery officially.

Do I need social media?
Yes! You’ll need a Facebook or Instagram business page to showcase your progress, share your bakes, and stay connected with Cake It or Leave It LLC.

How much does it cost to join?
It’s completely free to apply and join the program.
Once accepted, you’ll have the option to purchase one of our Starter Kits to help you get set up:
– $50 Starter Kit: Basic essentials
– $100 Business Launch Kit: Complete setup, double the product, and premium packaging

⚠️ Important: Please do not fill out the application if you do not plan to purchase one of the kits once accepted. These kits are required to participate in the program.

Do I need to live in Florida?
Yes! The program is open to Florida residents only. Participants must be able to pick up their kits in Lake Wales, or we may offer limited delivery within Lake Wales and surrounding areas.

How do I apply?
Complete the Young Bakers Rising Application Form (found on our page or website). Once submitted, we’ll review your application and reach out if you’re selected for this round of participants.

What happens after I’m accepted?
Once you’re in, you’ll receive:

🧁 Access to discounted Cake It or Leave It LLC dry mixes
🎀 The option to purchase your Starter Kit or Business Launch Kit
🌟 A chance to be featured on our page as one of our Young Bakers Rising
